Between Presence and Absence

This work continues research on memory, focusing on its fragility and on the tension between remembering and blocking certain experiences.

These issues are materialised through the fragmentation of the human figure and threads emerging from both pieces, which suggest overflow, fissure, and reconstruction.

Likewise, the work investigates the representation of skin through thin layers of dyed fleece. Skin is conceived as a threshold: a permeable boundary between the body's interior and exterior, operating simultaneously as containment and as a link between physical materiality and the internal imaginary.
